Elevated Cisterns 3 lies in the northwestern quadrant of Cosa's sprawling bath complex, marking an extension of a trench first unearthed in 2017 as part of Elevated Cisterns 3 (2017). This newly excavated area boasts a distinctive cocciopesto surface that appears to be situated on the exterior. Furthermore, clear signs of late antique and medieval occupation can be observed through the presence of a crudely constructed boundary wall and scattered glaze pottery sherds discovered across multiple Sampling Units (SUs).
