We created this model in a 3rd grade student's class at Greater Gallatin United Way kidsLINK, where we teach exciting classes in 3D modeling and 3D printing. The students use Blender to design their models from scratch. Once they're done designing, we bring their ideas to life by printing them on a Makerbot Replicator 2. I printed this model using Luminous White PLA, which shines brightly in the dark.
