Elephant Tusks

Elephant Tusks

thingiverse

I've created intricate wooden elephant sculptures that feature massive tusks, but unfortunately, the original ivory had broken apart. I opted to replace them with durable plastic elements, not only to restore their structural integrity but also to give the overall appearance an incredible boost. Since I couldn't find any comparable designs online, I decided to create my own unique versions. Hopefully, this will inspire someone else working on an elephant-themed project, and if you're interested in modifying the design further, I can provide you with the FCSTD file. I printed these sculptures using a support material within Cura 4.0, with a support density of 15%. Removing the supports required just a fine edge from an exacto-knife and some gentle sanding.
