Elephant Head Pour Spout

I designed and built this as a hobby project, creating a practical pour spout where liquids flow out of the elephant's mouth while air returns through its trunk for a smooth pouring experience. This spout consists of two parts: the spout itself and a sealing flange that fits snugly over the neck of the container. The seal is tailored to a specific diameter, so it's essential to verify its compatibility with your chosen vessel and possibly create a custom version if needed. Printing this design requires careful planning, as it necessitates a lot of support structures to prevent warping. To ensure successful removal of the model, it's crucial to orient the print job in such a way that there are no internal supports within the air tube or too deep inside the liquid tube – attempting otherwise would be extremely challenging. I used ABS and TPU materials for this prototype, which aren't ideal choices for applications involving food-safe liquor. It's up to you to determine the most suitable printing material for your specific needs.
