Here are multiple 2D images (captured with a smartphone camera) taken around the object, which are then used in photogrammetry to generate a precise 3D model. These photos are imported into Colmap, where an automatic reconstruction is performed. Once complete, the resulting mesh is opened in Meshlab and manipulated to create a watertight shape. The final step involves exporting this mesh as a .wrl file, which can then be uploaded to Sketchfab for easy sharing and collaboration with others.
