The Guimet museum boasts a vast collection of South East Asian art, with this majestic elephant being one of its prized possessions. Crafted in the distinctive style of Bayon from Kompong Svay, it now proudly resides in Paris. A dedicated volunteer meticulously scanned the object using approximately 50 photographs. This stunning artifact is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative conceived by MyMiniFactory. Through this project, we are diligently building a digital repository of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe, accessible to everyone for free. Scan The World is an open-source, community-driven effort, where anyone with intriguing items can contribute by emailing stw@myminifactory.com to discover how they can make a difference.
