This one of three elephants originates from Tra Kieu in Vietnam and has also been uploaded on MyMiniFactory and Scan The World. Found in the Quang Nam province, it is identified as a stone carving in the Tra Kieu style, believed to have been created in the 10th Century AD. Each elephant would likely have been used to decorate buildings or houses and were widely used motifs in art of that time and place. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan The World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from all around the globe for everyone to access for free.
