Eleni’s Easter Egg – 2/20/22 Designed by JWizard Thank you for choosing Eleni’s Easter Egg! We have created 3 Variations of Eleni’s Easter Egg. One egg top with smaller quantity of diamond cutouts, one egg top with a larger quantity of diamond cutouts or one egg top without diamond cutouts. The medium size egg has more diamond cuts than the small size egg. Both size eggs have a plain top. Just be consistent with the size you choose to print. Eleni’s Easter Egg is a decorative egg with a screw off bottom. This allows you to put in a 4cm puck light that will shine through the diamond cutouts. This would make a nice decoration for Easter regardless of whether or not you decide to use puck lights. Do not use any candles or electric for illumination. Only use 3-volt battery 4cm puck lights if you want to have light shine through the cutout diamonds. Perhaps you don’t want diamond cutouts. Then you can just print out the egg top that does not include the diamond cutouts. The screw on bottom does not have any cutouts and will work with the either egg top. What will make this egg stand out if the filament that you decide to use! Perhaps using a different color in each egg will make a nice egg display. You can also get remote control puck lights that you can turn on and off without removing the puck light from the egg. You may also wish to prop up the eggs using a stand similar to the one in the photos that displays your eggs at different heights. You can use any PLA filament. Since this is a decorative egg, you might be inclined to select a silk filament. This is one of those items that would make a nice gift for someone. We have received a lot of positive comments regarding Eleni’s Easter Egg. If you need to support a larger puck light than 4cm, you can always scale Eleni’s Easter Egg a bit larger. Just scale the egg proportionally not to distort the egg’s shape. If you make the egg large enough you can even store items inside. Perhaps it can be used to contain a gift for someone.
