Elemental - Crystal Fury
thingiverse
This time I ventured into something new. I was searching for some elementals. I've exported a few creatures from World of Warcraft using ModelViewer. This isn't an entirely novel concept on Thingiverse. The challenge lies in the extremely low number of polygons used in the models. The objects primarily come to life within the game due to the textures applied to them, so not everything found here will be incredibly useful. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that the models have undergone significant improvements since Cataclysm. Once I repaired them, they still don't quite live up to expectations when placed on a battlefield. To rectify this, I decided to add a paintable structure to the model. This experiment is aimed at trying out the Sculpture / Stencils tool. --- General Information My miniatures are designed to work seamlessly with original 28mm Heroquest miniatures right out of the box. I always provide both versions – one featuring a Heroquest base and another without it – and combine the weapons and base only when possible. Personally, I've grown accustomed to using 32mm miniatures these days. I typically scale them up to 112% -115% directly within the slicer. I'm thrilled whenever someone shares their make, especially if they're painted beautifully. By the way, I have a weakness for espresso; if you appreciate my work, please don't hesitate to leave a tip! =D If you're new to working with slicer settings or are using an Ender Printer, I recommend checking out this guide: http://www.fatdragongames.com/fdgfiles/?p=4934
