Element RC Enduro Chassis Lowering Kit

This is a comprehensive Chassis Lowering Kit I designed, with components that may not be aesthetically pleasing but prioritize Function over Form. The kit has been tested on my own truck, and significant improvements have been observed in climbing and side-hill performance compared to stock form, which is already impressive. The kit lowers the chassis by 8mm while maintaining all suspension geometry intact. Some minor adjustments may be necessary for upper and lower link lengths, but I had already tweaked mine before installing this kit and couldn't recall the original length. You will need a short servo horn; I'm using a cheap Chinese clamping one with the longer screw hole cut off. Additionally, 8 M3 x 14mm button head screws are required for shock hoops, and 4 M3 x 12mm countersunk screws are needed for gearbox mounting. The kit includes: High Clearance Centre Skid (all screw holes present but need to be threaded) Front and rear shock hoops; a 3mm drill bit is recommended to ensure smooth screw insertion. The Panhard hoop features a double shear design mount, necessitating a custom panhard bar of approximately 95mm eye-to-eye length. Servo plate: the servo must be mounted atop the plate, not underneath as per stock configuration (drill your own servo mounting holes using a sharp drill bit at low speed to avoid damaging the hole). Mount with the 'Arrow' facing forwards and downwards. A set of shock spring retainers I designed is included, providing better spring retention. Additionally, a bonus pair for the rear allows the spring to sit lower, promoting more even truck leveling. All parts feature screw holes but require threading; if using PLA, it's strongly advised to use stainless hardware for this purpose. I've tried various methods to thread PLA but found that stock black hardware or a threading tap can destroy the hole due to material 'grabbing.' Print settings: Skid plate: 0.2 layer height, support touching build plate, brim Servo Plate: 0.2 layer height, no support, brim Shock Hoops: 0.28 layer height, support, brim Rear Chassis Brace: 0.28 layer height, no support, brim Spring Retainers: 0.12 layer height, support, raft Feel free to use your preferred print settings; these are simply the ones I used for the parts.
