The original plastic part was replaced with an aluminum one due to its inability to withstand heavy loads. To design this replacement, I utilized the sheet metal tools available in SolidWorks 2012. The chosen material for the aluminum part is 1.5mm thick, and it will be further protected by a powder coating.
