I installed SilentStepper modules on my EleksMaker Elekslaser A3, but soon found that they were running extremely hot. Even the attached heatsinks became scorching to the touch. To solve this issue, I created a custom cover for the Mana SE Board featuring a 40mm fan, which can be easily connected to the motor connector on the board. With this upgrade, my Elekslaser now operates in complete silence and at a comfortable temperature. Two versions of the cover are available: one without screws for effortless maintenance, such as monitoring stepper current, and another with two screws securing the fan firmly in place. The screws used are M3x16, ensuring a secure fit.
