EleksMaker A3 Pro (new style feet) control board plate
thingiverse
I've got a brand new EleksMaker A3 Pro, with rubber feet that securely attach to the bottom of my extrusions. Given that the frame is now slightly lower, I have to mount the control board on top of the extrusion this time around. This setup leaves room for accidental exposure of the laser beam to the control board during a job. To address this concern, I've redesigned the plate so it mounts on the front of the extrusion as before, offering an additional advantage - running Y-axis cables through the top slot of the extrusion is now possible. Updated 01/16/19: I've added STL files for anyone interested in 3D printing the plate. I haven't personally tested it yet, but based on design alone, there shouldn't be a need for supports or special settings.
