Elegoo Neptune 3 Max and Plus cable holder and strain relief
thingiverse
The toolhead cable on the Elegoo Neptune 3 Max and Neptune 3 Plus can be saggy and can snag on the print model(s) which can lead to failed prints and/or damage to the machine. This is more pronounced on the Neptune 3 Max due to its large build volume. The holder is easy to print and use. The hardware needed is:-2 M4x25 mm cap head screws -4 M4 nyloc nuts-1 length of M4 threaded rod (about 20 to 25 cm)Assembly instructions: two nyloc nuts are threaded on each end of the threaded rod with their round ends facing each other, the main holder and front holder come next and are secured by the other nyloc nuts. The assembly is secured to the X gantry frame with the spacer and the two M4x24 cap head screws to the preexisting threaded holes. The spacer has also a cutout for the head of one of the mounting bolts. For the Neptune 3 Max, two zip ties can be placed throught the sleeving, about 4 cm apart with the firs one being placed at 60 cm from the connector. This will stabilise the cable and stop it from sliding in the support.
