I noticed the filament detector did nothing (when filament ran out) while printing via usb (using Slic3r). So i wanted to remove the filament detector and make a roller bearing filament guide using the original screws and their pattern. Im using a 8-24 machine screw as the shaft for my 0.5" diameter roller.
