Elegoo Neptune 2 Custom Buildplate for Cura

This is not a STL for printing! This is to add a custom build plate in Cura for the Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer. This works for the Elegoo version of Cura, and also the latest version if Cura (4.10). This also contains the Neptune definition files for Cura. Installation Instructions: - Elegoo Cura (Close Elegoo Cura if you have it open) 1. Copy the elegoo_neptune_2.stl file into the <Elegoo_Installation_Directory>\resources\meshes folder. 2. Go to the <Elegoo_Installation_Directory>\resources\definitions folder. Open the elegoo_neptune_2.def.json file with a text editor as an Administrator 3. Add the following line in the "metadata" section of the JSON file: "platform": "elegoo_neptune_2.stl", 4. in the "platform_offset" section, set all the values to 0. 5. Save, then open Elegoo Cura. - Ultimaker Cura 4.9+ (Close Cura if you have it open) 1. Unzip cura_elegoo_profile_files.zip. 2. Copy the elegoo_neptune_2. stl file into the <Elegoo_Installation_Directory>\resources\meshes folder. 3. Copy the elegoo_neptune_2.def.json file into the <Elegoo_Installation_Directory>\resources\definitions folder. 4. Copy the custom_extruder_9.def.json and the custom_extruder_10.def.json into the <Elegoo_Installation_Directory>\resources\extruders directory 5. Open Cura If you have updated Cura, upon opening for the first time it will report that your Elegoo Neptune profiles are corrupted and it will ask you to reset. DO NOT RESET as it will remove all your printer profiles! Cura is just saying that the required files are missing from the installation directory. Just follow the instructions above to place the required files in their respective folders and the message will disappear the next time you run Cura.
