This is a mount for installing dual Voron M4 extruders on an Elegoo Neptune 2 / 2S/ 2D, it mounts to the top of the frame between the 2 spool holders and has a mounting solution for both of the run-out sensors.

Print the main body and 2 copies of the sensor arm.

It is recommended to print the new sensor covers included in the files section which have been modified for PC4-M10 fittings on the inlet and outlet for bowden tube.

The M4's mount back to back when using NEMA17 40-23 steppers with a small air gap between them for cooling. I used m5x8x7mm heat sets for the mounting holes, using a bolt threaded in from the back side as a guide when inserting them with my soldering iron. You can bolt straight through if desired instead of using heat sets and shorter bolts. Heat sets were also used for the sensor mounts m3x4x5mm would probably work fine I used longer ones that I'm less likely to use on other projects.

The mount is bolted to the top cross bar using m5 bolts and T nuts, 4 holes are provided for extra security though 2 may be sufficient.

The sensor arms are made to be adjustable, you can leave them loose enough to swing for better alignment with the filament as it comes off the spool.

The M4's mount with the exit facing down and there is a notch in the mount to ease any potential strain on the bowden tube, which routes behind the top bar and then down to the hotend.

The stock wiring for E0 and E0 run-out are too short and will either need to be extended or replaced.

Depending on how well your printer is dialed in you may want supports for the main body notch but it will probably print fine without. I printed in ABS following the Voron printed parts recommended settings.

The M4 extruder parts can be found on the Voron github: https://github.com/VoronDesign/Mobius-Extruder/releases/tag/M4

You can find parts kits several places including Amazon and I even saw a complete kit including printed parts on Amazon though it was only 1 direction and you need 1 standard and 1 mirrored set of parts to fit on my mount since they mount back to back, you will also either need to re-pin the connector for 1 of the steppers to turn the correct direction or fix it in the firmware which is the better option imo. For the steppers I got and keeping E0 on the left and E1 on the right I had to invert direction on E0 though that may be different for you depending on your setup.

The run-out sensor housings have been slightly modified for dual fittings from this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4945303

Models have been updated for slightly thicker attachment points between the main body and the sensor arms. You can either use an m4x20 bolt threaded straight into the plastic or an m3x25 and a nut on each arm.

Check my make for detailed photos of assembly process.
