<p>This is a replacement gear specifically for the Elegoo Mercury X wash station. The original design was quite poor, lacking internal structure and proper balance. Elegoo knows its an issue and has addressed it as needed. I wanted to take this on and build it better.</p><p><strong>Print Settings</strong><br><i><strong>Printer: Elegoo Saturn</strong></i></p><p><i><strong>Rafts: Yes</strong></i></p><p><i><strong>Supports: Yes</strong></i></p><p><i><strong>Notes:</strong></i><br>adjust scale for your expected resin curing shrinkage (try 102%)<br>100 microns per layer<br>0 transition layers<br>add a bit of eSun Flex to decrease brittleness<br>use HEAVY supports - this is a precision part and must not be warped or curved</p><p><strong>Post-Printing</strong><br>Assembly<br>no grub screw needed<br>firmly but evenly press fit the wheel to the spindle<br>super glue magnets to wheel<br>thread locker or super glue to secure the wheel to the spindle, if desired<br>you will need 4 or 8 20mm magnets. I recommend starting with 4 and seeing how that works.</p><p><strong>How I Designed This</strong><br>Blender<br>Totally built non-destructively with BoolTools to accommodate quick and accurate edits.</p>
