This stand supports the Elegoo Mars printer vat, printing flat on the build plate without the need for supports. A chamfer is carefully designed into the build plate to eliminate the elephant foot issue. Before slicing, zoom in to verify that the chamfer is properly aligned with the plate. The entire assembly can be completed in four prints. Two left pieces are printed in one print, taking approximately one hour depending on your chosen settings. The second print produces two right pieces. Prints three and four consist of two stretchers each, taking around 20 minutes per print. Assuming proper calibration of your printer, the parts will fit together seamlessly without requiring any filing or sanding. A combination of Siraya fast, blue, and tenacious materials is utilized in this project. To assemble the components, superglue is applied and excess material is carefully wiped away with acetone before applying an accelerator.
