Elegoo Mars stand with drawers

thingiverse

A stand for Elegoo Mars boasts two spacious drawers perfect for storing small accessories such as wrenches and gloves. The top features a thoughtful cutout to ensure the fan remains unobstructed at all times. If you have a USB extender handy to relocate the USB drive port to the front, you can easily route it underneath the stand or between the stand and printer for maximum convenience. Thanks to its robust design, everything prints flawlessly without the need for supports. However, the stand's considerable height may cause adhesion problems if the print warps. To mitigate this issue, try printing mouse ears to enhance the corners' adhesion; if necessary, switch to brim mode. The drawers are a breeze to print as long as your bed is adequately level. For optimal results, I recommend using one drawer with two handles and another with a single handle, making it easier to grasp each handle when they're not adjacent. This stand can be printed using PLA, PETG, or ABS (if you master the art of warping control). As an added bonus, no supports are required. Using a larger nozzle will accelerate print speeds and strengthen the final product, although this is entirely optional. With four perimeters and a 0.4mm nozzle, the recommended settings should suffice; I personally opted for 15% gyroid infill. When printing drawers, ensure you use sufficient top and bottom layers to prevent the bottom from having any infill; the ideal number of layers depends on your layer height (and feel free to experiment with taller layers like 0.32mm).
