Sometimes my printer emits a slightly pungent odor, prompting me to wonder if printing a seal might possibly alleviate the issue. I decided to give it a try, reasoning that perhaps it could make a difference. I chose to print the seal in TPU, selecting a softer material that would fit snugly on my printer's surface. To my surprise, the seal seemed to be a perfect match for its intended purpose. While some might dismiss this solution as mere placebo effect, I've observed that it has indeed helped reduce the fumes emanating from my printer.
