Elegoo Mars Pro / Mars 2 Pro Desktop Air Filter
thingiverse
###This is a work in progress thing!### ToDos: * redesign the adapters to be more easy to print * redesign the power switch hole in the front aswell as the cutout in the back of the cases bottom side to work with more standard plugs and switches ############################### I designed this filter with the idea in mind to minimize the odor while printing with my mars pro. The already integrated carbon filter did not filter the air well enough so instead you can put this filter in series with the integrated one and have little to no odor while printing. (only when taking prints of the buildplate..) I printed everything out of PETG, but PLA should work just as good. You need to swap out the integrated carbon filter block holder with the new one (just gently heat up the glue on the carbon block with a hair dryer and then glue it into the new holder). The other parts just all screw on with some extra M3 nuts and bolts. There are some seals/gaskets to be printed out of TPU to ensure a better sealed system aswell as the "flex coupler" which is meant to reduce stress on the air duct. You will need two 80 mm fans (I use these but there may be better options with more pressure: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0119SLG18/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), a Hepa filter (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B083FLD2XW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - I cut those in half and glued the printed part calles "Blende" onto the cut side) and some carbon filter mats (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07PKGX7QZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
