This shim enables the use of the stock Mars LCD on the Mars Pro by providing a precise fit. The standard LCD screen protector measures 0.018 inches thick, while the Mars Pro model is 0.045 inches thick, resulting in a 0.68mm recessed position for the standard screens. This shim/spacer is designed to fill this gap and provide a flush fit for the standard screens on the Mars Pro Model. Please note that this is still a work in progress, and it may require a slight adjustment of the z-height due to the conversion from imperial to metric measurements. Additionally, double-sided tape was used, so feedback would be appreciated to refine the design. Update: Elegoo has provided new information regarding the Mars Pro tempered film thickness. According to their measurement, the Mars pro tempered film is 1.0mm thick, while the standard Mars tempered film measures 0.48mm thick. To accommodate these new measurements, a 0.52mm spacer was added to fit their specifications, along with the larger user-measured 0.68mm spacer. The correct size will be confirmed once a replacement LCD screen is installed on the Mars Pro model or when feedback from users confirms which size works best.
