Elegant Wine Rack
prusaprinters

This wine rack is designed to hold ordinary and the somewhat wider (usually red wine, 86mm) bottles but not the super fat champagne/prosecco style bottles. The units are infinitely stackable so you can make a 3, 6, 10 or even taller bottle rack. For a six-bottle rack you’ll need to print two lefts, two rights, a centre and a top.

The bottom slot that connects the lower units together has a 0.1mm tolerance. Depending on the accuracy of your printer and what type of filament you use, that may be either too tight or too loose. If too tight, obviously, you'll need to do some sanding. If it's loose, add some thin two-sided tape or a blob of glue between the units and/or on the support connectors. As they are supporting wine bottles, you'll want to be sure they're well fitted and secure. When fitting together, lay the units on their backs so they align perfectly.

I printed mine using eSun (sorry Joe) Gloss Silky PLA, 2.5mm layers, 2 perimeters, 10% infill, and Seam Position: Rear so the seam will be on the bottom of the unit and won't be visible. Also, I tend to use thicker extrusions (0.55mm). If you use the standard 0.45mm you might want to go with 3 perimeters to add strength and so the infill anchors don't show through.
