This mechanical spoolholder is engineered with simulation in mind, giving it superior strength for your filament. The design accommodates an 18mm thick bar, ensuring a sturdy base. I've entered this model into the 3D Printing Nerd's design competition, judged by Joel Telling himself. A variation of this filament holder, compatible with aluminum extrusions, is in development for screws-on installation.
