This is a 3D printable Lego-compatible display surround for the [Elegant Departure Boards](https://www.elegantbricks.com/products/elegant-departure-boards) project. See the site for more information. Elegant Bricks kindly provide the parts list and source code to DIY the project. This model provides a Lego-compatible surround for the display component. This model was designed and printed for [@sachajudd](https://twitter.com/sachajudd)'s underground railway project. You can see it, and a few other Lego creations, at [@legolangs on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/CVWXKt4BiF2/). This model is designed for a specific OLED display; the [Midas Displays 256×64 OLED Module](https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/2920415.pdf), with dimensions 70mm × 22mm × 1.71mm (although the depth doesn't matter). The model supports an active display area of approximately 53mm × 14mm (which is slightly bigger than our chosen display's 51.18mm × 12.78mm). The 256×64 resolution of the Midas was the deciding factor when choosing a display in order to match the resolution of Elegant Brick's original (we had to shop around a bit to find something suitable). The model was designed in TinkerCad. You can remix the [Elegant Departure Boards display frame TinkerCad model](https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ggkHJokDIpo-elegant-departure-boards-display-frame) to adapt it to your requirements. The model was originally a remix of a Lego brick model, but I ended up using https://bricks.lapinoo.net in order to generate the 12 × 2 brick that we needed (the result of a steep learning curve about the geometry of Lego bricks of different sizes).
