Eleduino 7" TFT Front for Raspberry Pi
thingiverse
I've designed a brand new frontplate for my Eleduino 7" 1024x600 TFT-Touchscreen, which I'm using in my Raspberry Pi-OctoPi installation on my Prusa i3 MK2. The original plate leaves some areas around the TFT uncovered, so you'll notice electronic components and wires related to the touchscreen. I created this new plate from scratch using AutoDesk 123D; it covers the area better than the original. You can reuse the same screws; the cover swap takes just a few minutes and looks much more polished. The original LCD is available at eleduino.com, product number p10533. UPDATE I've added a second version of the frontplate, along with its 123D file. In this updated design, I've included a small frame on the right side to conceal the connection ports (HDMI/USB). I plan to use it as a base for adding triggers and buttons in the future, which will allow me to turn the LCD on and off, or adjust the lighting.
