The beak of Eledone cirrhosa is situated in the buccal mass, directly at the center of its arms beneath the head. This beak is constructed from extremely thin chitin and measures approximately two centimeters across. Further refinements are necessary to perfect the details and coloration of this model. A scientific paper detailing the buccal musculature of Octopus bimaculoides has been located, providing valuable insights into the anatomy of these cephalopods. Since the beaks of Eledone cirrhosa and Octopus bimaculoides exhibit striking similarities, it is now possible to extrapolate the buccal musculature of Eledone cirrhosa from this information.
