I liked the straightforward design by Caelf, but it needed some tweaks. I dislike using screws, so I redesigned the vice to utilize dovetails for retention instead. The handle and the lead screw were also modified. Typically, a vice features an ACME left-hand thread, which is what I opted for. Every component has 0.2mm clearance, ensuring a snug fit without any parts falling apart. The ACME thread measures 0.3mm and requires some oil to get it moving smoothly the first time around. I aimed to create a completely support-free design, but the slide still necessitates a small amount of support. To assemble this vice, follow these steps: First, attach the Slide to the vice. Next, thread the lead screw nut about three-quarters of the way onto the thread. With the end of the thread passing through the Vice base hole, push the screw attachment into the slot on the slide. Then, push the nut through the Base hole and secure the handle in place. Finally, you can insert the jaws. If a video tutorial is required, I'd be more than happy to create one. Additionally, I've incorporated a new lead screw and slide for those who prefer to print the screw flat on the bed.
