The student at Pathfinder Technical High School's Computer Aided Drafting shop has created an enhanced design under the guidance of instructor Mr. Kevin Mastalerz. This innovative invention aims to prevent liquids and other damaging substances from affecting electronic devices such as batteries, cell phones, and watches. The entire assembly is made of ABS material, but the printing material has yet to be finalized. To ensure a strong attachment to outlet plates, suction technology with adhesive backing (MicroSuction tape) will be used on flat surfaces at the back. All fitting pieces are meticulously designed within tight tolerances of .01", with each side being .005" apart. The student believes their model is more functional and robust than existing products in the market, warranting review and distribution. Personalization options include different colors, textures, and patterns to enhance the product's appeal. Three separate pieces can also be customized for a more eye-catching appearance. A demonstration featuring an iPhone 6 model (not included in the final design) showcases potential color options. The student emphasizes that their creation is solely for demonstration purposes and does not claim ownership of the iPhone 6 model. All parts have been test fitted to ensure proper functionality.
