Electronic Filterwheel and Camera Rotator for Astrophotography (OnStep / MyFilterWheel) This project provides printable brackets to convert a manual 5-position filter wheel to an electronic filter wheel, while also allowing for an automated camera rotator / de-rotator. The filterwheel portion is powered by Robert Brown's MyfilterWheel project. It uses a 28BYJ-48 motor and can be powered directly from the USB 5v of an arduino nano. The Camera rotator required much more torque, and is powered by a NEMA17 stepper motor. This required the motor to be externally driven. In my case, I use the OnStep controller that powers my mount. You could also use Robert Brown's MyRotator project instead. CAUTION: The printable filter carousel has one slot enlarged for an M52 filter. I eventually plan to provide an STL with all m48 slots.
