Inspired by https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-heated-bed-mosfet-relay-hack-v2, this project utilizes an electronic circuit that replaces a traditional relay with a MOSFET. This approach creates a compact and efficient solution for switching electric strikes. The circuit board is printed using a 3D printer, with the electronic components inserted into designated holes. To complete the assembly, users must solder these components using their legs or wires as shown in the diagram. For added stability, the screw-block should be securely attached to the card via glue. This design was created with OpenSCAD, an open-source software tool that enables users to easily create other simple electronic circuits using a similar method.
