The edge of this extraordinary weapon is forged from Baked Ionized Photons, which behave as a solid yet vibrate at extremely high frequencies. Its nominal temperature is approximately 4,500 degrees Fahrenheit, although the heat does not radiate more than a few millimeters from the blade's surface. When sheathed, the entire system functions as an incredibly powerful laser rifle. Triggering the hilt overcharges the blade to a scorching 13,500 degrees Fahrenheit. This concentrated energy is then directed out of two barrels at the end of the sheath. This temporary overcharge enables effortless cutting through almost any material. Activating the thumb switches on the handle ejects the blade from its sheath at high velocity for rapid deployment. The entire system runs on a Quantum battery with an astonishing 1,500-year lifespan.
