<p>Electro Magnetic Gimbal modification, could be a Galvo XY laser mirror base, or something else - please experiment, remix, comment and post makes!</p> <p>as it is it configured (untested) it should hold one 10m diameter magnet of up to 5mm hight.<br/> It now features a tower for an additional coil or magnet to create a field in the direction perpendicular to the already featured axles to achieve more complete controll of the gimbal!</p> <p>I should not have to explain that as it is the magnet coils that are in line with each other are wound as one coil (in the same direction etc). Their field could also be aided by winding feromagnetic material around the outer coil barrier...</p> <p>I can think about so many possible applications, and am looking forward to code and electronics for this experiment...</p> <p>I created a group <a href="/groups/electromotor-design">https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/electromotor-design</a> specifically for people that like the subject and colaboration - come and join!</p> Category: Physics & Astronomy
