The electrically shifted gearbox features an innovative design where orange gears connect to a layshaft linked to the input shaft. Power is relayed to the wheels when the output shaft's connection is closed using an electrically-powered internal cone. Shifting occurs through a control panel with a switchboard and battery, creating a circuit that charges the internal cone. A sensor ensures precise timing for attraction, which is performed in two steps. The non-metal shafts protect the magnets, while the second axle holds the internal cones for optimal performance when the first shaft rotates fastest.
