Recreated photogrammetry models, all from photos taken on-site, capture the entire area beyond the metal fence in stunning detail. Engineers needed a set of detailed drawings to facilitate transformer changeout work, which highlighted the versatility of photogrammetry over laser scanning methods. Notably, this approach revealed that the planned crane would not fit down the lane 100 meters up the road, underscoring another advantage of camera-based survey techniques. This model has been optimized for online viewing, reduced by 95% from its original size while still incorporating essential pre-processing elements; however, single component details are intentionally omitted.
