Electrical Box (American outlets)

Electrical Box (American outlets)

thingiverse

This is a custom enclosure designed specifically for American electrical boxes, accommodating 120VAC outlets. It's been tailored to allow users to adjust its dimensions as needed. The outlet socket holes' specifications were taken from Wally's Thingiverse design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:47956), courtesy of Chris (TheNewHobbyist). For OpenSCAD programmers, the following details may be useful: 1. Line 50 sets a fixed radius of 7mm for the half-circle; however, the next line ties this to screw hole_radius (defaulting to 3mm), which is identical in size. To adjust this, simply set the desired radius at line 50 and comment out line 51. 2. The parameter screw_pos defaults to 3mm from the edge for both box and cover modules; users can modify these values to suit their unit's specifications.
