This is a custom cover designed to fit snugly over the J1772 charging port of an electric vehicle. A small recess in its center awaits the installation of a precision-cut O-ring, ensuring a secure seal and preventing any moisture or debris from entering the charging area. In the absence of an available O-ring, I opted for Sugru, a moldable adhesive that provides a reliable alternative to maintain the cover's integrity and prevent electrical shorts.
