This 5" robotic platform is compatible with Picaxe or Arduino, featuring a sonar ranging mast for obstacle avoidance. The top plate has a 90-degree radian etching for easy turn calibration. A TTF file is provided to ensure correct text display before cutting. The deck accommodates various battery configurations, including LiPo with a regulator. Designed as an improved alternative to commercial offerings, this platform utilizes I-beam construction for strength and stability. Cut files are available in CDR and DXF formats, with material requirements of 4mm acrylic. The placement holes support Picaxe, Arduino, or your preferred controller. The ranging mast is customizable with cutouts for popular models, and standard IR sensors can be used as well. The motor configuration caters to Tamiya 70097 motors/gearboxes in high or low ratio builds, using Tamiya 70145 wheels. A standard servo or micro servo with adaptor plate is also supported.
