This thing is a remix of the awesome electric skateboard motor mount from Solidgeek. I was thinking about how to increase the rigidity of the original design even further and came up with this solution. Compared to the original design, a fixed angular orientation of the motor mount was chosen compared to the flexible adjustment of the original because I didn't really use adjustment. Also, the clamping mechanism to the trucks was modified since I found the original to become loose sometimes. Now, two bolts are pressing against the trucks to hopefully increase the connection. Lastly, a profile alongside the arc was created to decrease bending. Tip: 1) This mount is designed to be attached on the right truck side when looking at the skateboard bottom. 2) Possibly, the arc profile will reduce the effective adjustment range of the motor. 3) The angular orientation was chosen to match the 44-degree trucks. The design is printing right now, so no practical validation of the design adjustments has been made yet. Review and images will follow soon.
