[New version uses a mobile part sliding held by a spring to accomodate more phone width, and overall holds the phone more reliably]I don't really like the smartphone holder that attach to the mirrors as I prefer to have navigation on my phone in landscape.this area above the speedometer was perfect to have the phone in my field of view and protect it from most of the rain.only needed to extend the original screws (couldn't find long enough M5 screws to use) and used a spring at the bottom screw with a flexible hook to hold the phone securely in place.putting it in and out mashes the volum buttons, but it cannot move at all (to fall or to get stolen)
