My electric scooter (E-free S2 Pro / Hiboy S2) hit a scorching 65.7 degrees Celsius while tackling steep inclines. This extreme heat caused the motor to sputter and lose traction. In response, I opted for an aggressive cooling strategy targeting the electronics compartment. By doing so, I was able to reach top speed on uphill climbs and witnessed a significant decrease in maximum temperature readings, settling at 53.4 degrees Celsius. This mod requires careful consideration of airflow through the bottom plastic housing. To achieve optimal results, consider integrating my air vent design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4441139 The air vent ensures splashproofing from the front of the scooter and substantially reduces the risk of water ingress.
