Electric retract mount plate
thingiverse
So, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Hobby King electric retracts, but their plates can use some improvement. This plate is specifically designed for their metal trunion model, which features a substantial 44mmx41mm mounting plate. I've had firsthand experience with this plate on my own aircraft and it seems to be holding up remarkably well so far. Currently, I'm testing it out on my Top Flite AT-6 Texan, which weighs in at approximately 7 pounds. The ABS printing process yielded a surprisingly strong structure, but I would advise against flying when the temperature drops below freezing. The added thickness provides an extra layer of security, and the beveled holes accommodate the stock screws seamlessly.
