This is a small charging station / bitholder for a mini electric precision screwdriver I got from amazon. When the screwdriver is fully seated in its holder, it charges via USB power. There are also spots to hold up to 20 precision (4mm hex) bits.

Print instructions

Printed with 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 10% infill. No supports needed, although there is some bridging in the counterbore holes used to attach the top plate that captures the USB plug.

Uses a 90-degree micro-USB cable at the base for charging. Either a right-angle or left-angle cable should work (the pictures show a right-angle cable). The specific model of cable I purchased is from StarTech.com via Amazon.

Up to four M3x8mm screws are used to attach the top plate to the base -- I've found that two screws is more than sufficient to keep things together. A future version of this model may use a snap-fit connection of some sort to avoid the need for the additional hardware.

I'm also considering adding slots to the bitholder to hold small rectangular magnets under the holes to keep the bits in place. The bitholder holes are currently a bit oversized to make it easy to insert and remove bits. I've done a friction-fit version of the holder in a previous version, but since this stand ends up taped to my desktop I find I prefer the easy insert/remove.

Enjoy.
