Electric Longboard Printed Motor Mount
thingiverse
Remix of the Longa Motor mount to mount on standard D style trucks. Tested with Mboards 170mm trucks and Torqueboards 6354 motors(won't fit anything larger). Must be printed in at least ABS, with considerable wall count and infill. I don't really ride hard, do I cannot attest to the longevity of this setup. Please be careful and do a quick pre ride check before taking this out. I don't think a failure could be fatal but no crash is good at speed. Material List (numbers are McMaster part numbers): - 1M of 10mm Steel Tube( [50295K272](https://www.mcmaster.com/50295K272) ) - 4 cut to 6" - 2 cut to 5.5" - Threaded 10-32 Heated Insets ( [97164A101](https://www.mcmaster.com/97164A101) ) - 10-32 1/2" Grub Screws ( [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GH1F5D5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) ) - 1 K26 spring ( [9637K26](https://www.mcmaster.com/9637K26) ) - M4 12mm Bolt ( [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F33UKJK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) ) Some parts will need slight sanding and shaving. Make sure the motor mounts can move with slight resistance. The K26 should be cut down enough so that you can slip the motors on, its better to start with too much spring and cut down to fit. Feel free to leave questions and I will try to answer as soon as possible.
