electric Longboard conversion
thingiverse
These are the files required to convert a longboard into an electric one. I used a Globe Prowler skateboard in my conversion project. The top speed achievable is approximately 30 kilometers per hour. To complete this modification, you will need to acquire a motor rated at NTM 50/60 380 kv, along with an RC car esc that has a current rating of 120 amps, and a remote control system such as the Hobbyfly GT2b. Additionally, you'll require some batteries with a capacity of 3200mAh and a voltage of 4s, which I connect in parallel to achieve a range of 8-9 kilometers. Other necessary components include an HTD5m 15mm belt that is 275mm long, as well as M5 screws and nuts for the brackets. The motor mount blade is made from a 6mm fiberglass sheet, while the rest of the parts were printed using Carbonfil filament. The motor pulley is connected to the motor via the propeller adapter that comes with the motor. After driving these skateboards for approximately 200 kilometers, I can confidently say that they are still working smoothly.
