The Be 4/6 electric locomotive is a type of Swiss e-Loc used on the Gothardbahn. You can now bring one home and operate it on your O-gauge layout. The model has space for two gearboxes that connect a standard DC motor to the wheels, allowing you to assemble the locomotive and give it a custom paint job. This will bring a piece of history back to life. Use any round shaft as the axles - a piece of filament, a metal rod, or wood works great. In my own build, I cut some metal nails to size using the main rod as the shaft and the flat endpiece to keep the connecting rod connected to the wheels, and they performed well. If you decide to build one, please post images of your result - I'd love to see them! And stay tuned for more to come! This entire project consists of seven STL files. It's possible that the 3D models may look a bit rough once opened in slicer software, but they should still slice perfectly fine. If you encounter any issues, feel free to contact me. Enjoy your build.
