Electric lock pick gun
thingiverse
Electric lock pick gun. This project is still evolving, the handle and motor mount are separate entities, but once I had everything printed, I simply superglued them together. I've successfully used this tool on some basic locks, but I'm no expert at operating it. It likely has significant limitations compared to a professional electric lock pick gun, but building it was still a fun experience. The cam gets super glued onto the motor shaft and due to its off-center position, it creates an up-and-down oscillation motion that drives the pick. The motor I used came from a remote control car that I had disassembled, but the size seemed standard and could be found at most electronic stores. The button is from RadioShack and the gun runs on a 9-volt battery. This project requires some soldering, post-printing adjustments to ensure all parts move smoothly, and some superglue. It's a bit rough-looking and still a work in progress, but I hope you enjoy it. Here's a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08IF598p2gI&feature=youtu.be
