Electric kettles should be disconnected if not used. Otherwise, it could start heating if the main switch fails. This pad adds space between the kettle and the basement to add extra safety. If you need hot water just remove it a place it back afterwards.Model is very simple made for platic Bosch kettle. You can change the inner and outer diameters according to your basement and kettle little pads position.
