Electric Imp Solar Panel with Servos
thingiverse
This is as compact a model as I could print using micro servos and an Electric Imp April board to create solar panels that will move based on various inputs, including self-cleaning cycles. Details about the build can be found here: http://bit.ly/salesforcesolar. A video of the demo with integrations can also be seen here: http://bit.ly/TDXsolar. Note that if you use the Fusion 360 models, the base container that holds the Electric Imp is slightly too small. The STL file has been scaled up by 2% to make it possible to remove the Imp later. I found the clips I designed to keep the lid on to be fragile, so I ended up gluing the top on instead.
